went sentosa once again with the TIM pple.. but short of a few faces.. only gaowei, dom, ting, oreo,sean, nigel, kenneth,yang, chester and mi went..

Saturday night was also my OCS platoon 2 BBQ, finally our first gathering since we commission on 2nd April.. haha..It was great! the food was great and the drinks were great! thanks a lot to zhengwei who provided his house as the venue and thanks to his mum aunt and maid who did the cooking for us!! It is a joy to get to eat great food,talk crap and dun need to do any work..haha.. Big thank you to Kenneth Tan for driving mi back! if not i would be stuck in bukit timah.. and i stay east..haha.. once again pics will have to wait.. -.-"

Sunday 18/09/05

Today start of the day was just slp and slp..haha.. never realli do much.. the usual online gaming and watching movie.. in the evening i went to meet dom at a last min call up.. haha.. accompany her to go to Taka to get her durian mooncake and to have dinner.. The place we went for dinner was "Pepper lunch".. its a new Japanese Fast food restaurant.. Its an interesting concept i think.. fast food with Jap food.. even when its so crowed it wasnt long b4 we got our food..and the fun part was that we got to cook the food..haha.. not like seoul.. the food comes in a extremely hot plate.. the meat and stuff is on top and u just gotta flip to cook the other side.. and its just nice for medium rare..haha.. the food aint very cheap but tis ard a normal meal at swensen and cartel..so try it when u guys got the chance.. theres only 2 outlet atm.. one at isetan one at taka..

On the way home on the bus, Dom asked mi an interesting qns.. that i think most would have tot or dream of b4.. "wat will u do if u have a million dollar".. Personally i would first save 0.5mil, 100k for education, 100k for car, 300k to do up a investment portfolio or maybe open my own cafe.. haha.. Tell mi wat u pple think? :)

Nothing much today.. a typical work day.. after work met with dom and gaowei for dinner.. following that sean joined us and we watched "a sound of thunder".. an interesting concept on the plot.. quite a new show i think.. :)

For Friday:
Went out to chill with moi sis Dom.. should have been more pple but all cant make it.. Chilled at brewerks~ its been a long time since i last went there.. and that was when i was in OCS.. lol.. miss going there with Platoon 1 guys.. but hell~ going with dom is fun too.. nice food.. The burger set was big! even for mi i had to take some time to consume it.. and no need the say the beer was nice..

For Saturday:
Went with Alex to make my passport coz my last one expired.. since when they said photo in army uniform cant be used.. had to waste another $5.25 and the super long queue just to get another pic.. $65.25 in just the morning.. *sighz*

After that meet up with Wenbin and headed down to bugis for a drink b4 we went to meet up with the rest of my colleagues coz our encik was giving us a treat at Garden's hotel..buffet high tea.. haha.. this is also a carbo loading session in prep of the AHM which was on Sunday.. the food was ok but they booast a wide variety.. too bad its located near Newton Mrt and surrounded by private housing.. if i wasnt directed exactly to where it was.. i doubt anyone would be able to find the hotel..

Had an early night on sat to rest for AHM.. haven hit the bed at 9pm for months.. usual bedtime is 12am-1am..

For Sunday:
the dreaded day is finally here.. had to get up at 4am to hitch a ride from my guys to get the Padang.. after some warm up and we are on our way.. the cool temperature in the early hours of the day was great for the run! the first 9km was like no kick..and completed speedy..haha.. my goal was just to complete it even when im registered as a competitive runner..haha.. the one of least competitive of the competitors.. haha.. i just DREAD RUNNING!! anyhows im just glad its all over..

youngest runner of the 21km was 11yo! haha.. gd effort!

even my PES E and C boys all ran the 21km.. great effort during prep(10km 15km runs) and of course gd effort to complete the 21km.. probably the most distance they covered on foot in one shot in their entire life so far..

Was really happy to see many familiar faces like buddy Ian, Jonathan, Jackson, kenneth, Vain kid Yongsheng and many others.. haha..

on a side note.. there were many pretty girls in the 21km run! haha.. never expected so many girls to turn up.. all the slim and slender ladies running a whooping 21km.. now that commentable.. haha.. and Sherlyn was there! haha.. haven seen her in a while.. passed her somewhere along ECP.. but i wasnt sure if i was correct cause the sun wasnt up yet and i only saw her back as i did not turn ard after i passed.. haha.. only confirmed it after i spotted her at the finish line.. if only i din lose visual of her i would have gone up and say hi(so it wasnt that i was DAO ok~).. lol..

Went for ljs breakfast after the run and guess who i saw~ kenneth liew~ haha.. great run from him clocking 1hr 50min.. crazy~ makes mi feel inferior.. but heck..haha.. another surprise was meeting fangting at ljs.. lol..

well went out with gaowei,sean, nigel for lan game.. surprisingly i wasnt as tired as i expected to be after the 21km.. oreo came for dinner and then we headed down to X-square for more gaming.. *notez i suck at winning eleven* all in all i only hit the bed at 12am at night..

A brand new week started~

hey everyone..

hows everybody this week.. haha.. one last day till saturday is here.. y am i go not looking forward to hmm.. think its coz AHM is this sunday.. sianz...

but on the gd side my dear Encik is gonna give everyone a treat(reason shall remain undisclosed) .. haha.. buffet high tea at some hotel.. lol.. Already getting a ride to and fro work in his Mazda 3 everyday (save mi a lot of transport fee) and now a treat.. wahaha.. Thanks a lot Encik!!

All of u out there.. the end point is not far and u can almost hear the applauses and cheering of the crowd(each other when the last paper is done). Do all u all gotta.. many have travelled this path, most made it, some almost, few died(like mi).. chose which u wanna be.. and in chosing.. dun put too much pressure on urself..

To you..
Messages may be few.. calls are close to none.. but ur nv too far.. This is a packed time for ya.. and time is of the essences.. i know what ur going through is tough and sometimes u may even feel like giving up.. but u made it this far.. Hang in there! i'll be everwhere im needed..

My first proper entry...

haha~ my first proper entry.. i also dunno where to begin.. the whole week have been the same as any others.. reporting to camp and then back in the evening thats all.. haha.. many pple will think im having it easy.. actually most pple dun see the work.. however.. sometimes i agree its a slack job compare to others.. Wondering what my unit is doing in my 2yr 4mth in the army? haha..shan scare u all.. however i can tell u all what i do.. My job is normal but has a wide scope compared to most.. i do finance, stores to even doctrine writing.. wonder y they let NSF like us write the doctrines.. Beyond our pay scale lahz!!

haha~ who goes to swensens during work for lunch and in Uniform!~ haha.. ORD lunch for my MR Lim.. my upper study(in red) who disrupted for studies.. and also going away lunch for my great Chief clerk(only lady).. All the best to the 2 of you! =)

Most of u all should know that the AHM is coming.. short for Army Half Marathon.. To many, u all would know it better as the annual Sheares Bridge run.. 21km is the distance we got to do.. haiz.. distance may not be long(since we didi 24km 30km route march b4) but the fact thats its running makes it a dread.. i hate to run.. i find running very monotonous and very time consuming.. proper warm up + the run + the cool down really takes up quite a bit of time! *sighz* guess i still gotta do it..

Thanks also to a special friend of mine... Yes its a girl and NO she aint my girlfriend.. haha.. i is sna (single and available).. lol~ Anyways she is a friend i lost contact with for a year plus.. Busy as always and pretty as ever.. haha.. thanks for adding some life into my greyish and routine life.. Meet up sometimes..
